Violence Media

Great lecture today on Violence Media. Never thought of this ever over all the years that I've been watching all sorts of media. I guess Bill said it true that we are so indulged in such sort of stuff, that we don't even feel any sort of nasty feelings while watching it. The youth today has almost drifted away from his morals and they love to see all these massacres and brutalness. Violent films, video games, music etc. are major factors in making a person outrageous, irritable and socially outcast.
Now coming on to my movie part( I love this!!). The most brutal movie that i've seen so far is Ninja's Assasin. I literally got that nauseating feeling  after watching all the sword cuttings, blood and the vintage ninja actions.

And the movie which exhibits sheer brutalness is Saw. Even though I have seen only its first part and didn't have any more courage left to watch the other parts too!

I feel there's no point in creating such movies as they only convey a very false message to the society. Such psychic scenes only create moral panic and fear in the audiences, which sometimes leaves them depressed for quite a while. I feel strict laws should be enforced to curb this rising trend of creating such forms of media.
